Bird Rock La Jolla explosion in mailbox

On April 14th 2011 there was an explosion at 420 La Jolla Hermosa in Bird Rock La Jolla. Next door neighbor, Judy Peebles, heard the blast and ran to see what had happened. Bird Rock was shaken. It appears to be a prank on a mailbox and a bad prank at that. Hopefully police will determine who did this prank. Bird Rock is safe and sound now. We will report more as police give information.
